Practice contributes to publications and press articles

The practice was highlighted in a recent Scotland on Sunday ‘at Home’ magazine article on self build projects, with Balcarres Mill featuring on the front cover.

Two projects – The Camera Obscura and 5 Melville Street – were featured in the Architecture Scotland Annual 2011.

5 Melville Street was also included in the British Council ADF Papers (Series 2) exploring new directions in British Architecture – “Context and Change in Scottish Architecture”

Aberdeen Lecture

Recently invited by Scott Sutherland School of Architecture to present a lecture on the ideas and values of Patrick Geddes entitled – Generalism Enacted. The lecture was an opportunity for Masters students, currently working on urban design projects, to be introduced to the background, influence and application of Geddesian philosophy in a historical context (e.g. Team 10) and contemporary practice.
