The practice was highlighted in a recent Scotland on Sunday ‘at Home’ magazine article on self build projects, with Balcarres Mill featuring on the front cover.
Two projects – The Camera Obscura and 5 Melville Street – were featured in the Architecture Scotland Annual 2011.
5 Melville Street was also included in the British Council ADF Papers (Series 2) exploring new directions in British Architecture – “Context and Change in Scottish Architecture”

Recently invited by Scott Sutherland School of Architecture to present a lecture on the ideas and values of Patrick Geddes entitled – Generalism Enacted. The lecture was an opportunity for Masters students, currently working on urban design projects, to be introduced to the background, influence and application of Geddesian philosophy in a historical context (e.g. Team 10) and contemporary practice.
The practice is currently involved in the sale of a unique development of a bespoke family home which enjoys the most spectacular views over-looking a golf course and surrounding rural landscape.

5 Melville Street has been nominated as a finalist for the Roses Design Awards 2011 – regeneration category. The Roses Design Awards are about promoting excellence in design and the winners will be announced at the annual awards ceremony which will take place on the 13th October 2011.
